I was employee #13 at Airbnb, where I spent over a decade building and leading US Market Development, the team responsible for figuring out how a two-sided marketplace scales. I've seen that problem from nearly every angle: as an early operator, as a founder, and as an investor.
Today I'm co-founder and CEO of Storied Collection, a luxury accommodation platform, so the hospitality and short-term-rental work is what I do every day. Through Inkwell Ventures, I've backed 17 companies, three of which have gone on to become unicorns. I'm also an active LP in Derive Ventures, an early-stage venture firm investing in travel, hospitality, experiences, and real estate technology.
